Description: This consultation was conducted by the City of Lincoln Council and the Monk’s Road Neighbourhood Partnership on the 18^th of June, 2008. The consultation was held at 7.30pm at the Monk’s Road Methodist Church, Walmer Street.
 

People had the chance to look at information produced for Character Areas either side of Monk’s Road. Residents then had the opportunity to make comments about how they feel about particular characteristics of the Character Areas. In addition, whether they had lived in the area for 5 months or 50 years, people had the chance to share their memories of the Monk’s Road neighbourhood.

A total of 210 comments and 38 memories were gathered from residents living in Character Areas to the north and south of Monk’s Road. The results are published on Heritage Connect and can be seen using the links below, or on the ‘What People Think’ Section of the Character Areas either side of Monk’s Road that were included in the consultation.
